About the Ocean Healthmap

Your digital gateway for co-ordinated care

The Ocean Healthmap is an accurate, up-to-date and searchable directory that includes our Central Intake Office and all Nova Scotia surgeons accepting eReferrals using Ocean. Nova Scotia primary care providers using Ocean eReferrals can use the Healthmap to search for surgical services and either refer their patient to the Central Intake Office to be referred to the next available surgeon, or their provider of choice.

Our goal is to have 100 per cent of Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health surgeons listed in the directory and to have all primary care providers submitting referrals through this tool.
